The Fleet Street Press
About This Spot
Stepping into The Fleet Street Press feels like discovering a quietly confident refuge tucked into the heart of Temple’s bustling streets. The pace here is measured—a gentle pause amid the city’s rhythm—with an atmosphere that welcomes both the solitary coffee devotee and the friendly catch-up alike. Natural light filters softly through the windows, casting a calm glow over the simple yet thoughtful interior, where comfortable seating invites you to settle in and savor the moment.
This coffee shop skillfully balances the charm of a neighborhood staple with the precision of skilled roasters who clearly care about their craft. There’s a warmth not only in the rich, smooth espresso drinks but also in the genuine greetings from the staff, setting a tone of easy familiarity from the first sip to the last.
On the menu, you’ll find more than just the usual espresso-based offerings—seasonal lattes infused with turmeric or beetroot add a subtle twist, complementing the steady crowd-pleasers like a well-rounded flat white or a perfectly frothed almond milk cappuccino. An array of baked goods from local artisans rounds out the experience, offering a buttery, satisfying pairing that feels thoughtfully curated rather than just convenient.
What makes The Fleet Street Press stand apart is its serene atmosphere amidst a neighborhood often crisscrossed by hurried footsteps and noise. Here, good coffee invites conversation, reflection, or peaceful pause. Whether you’re craving a quiet moment on a Saturday morning or a trusted spot to fuel your day, it strikes a rare balance of comfort, quality, and understated charm that keeps locals returning.

Scenically placed coffee shop with buttery smooth espresso drinks. They carry baked goods from Lockdown Bakery - whose delicious and amazing lamington cakes are the size of a baseball and good to the last little coconut-y bite.

The Flat White at The Fleet Street Press was excellent. It’s a great place for your specialty coffee cravings along Fleet Street. Nothing much to say here except this coffee shop is coffee lover approved.

Great stop for a coffee. I tried the Tumeric Latte this time and it was great. I'll pop back soon for a regular coffee and let you know. The service was excellent.

Adorable little hidden coffee gem in the depths of an area with nothing but not high quality coffee chains. From the friendly greeting of the workers to the calm atmosphere — this place has no flaws. Would highly recommend their flat white with oat milk!

Friendly service and an excellent almond milk cappuccino. Really sizable compared to more hipster locations but perfect foam and a “fruitier” espresso blend which was really nice. Lots of seating and not crowded on Saturday around noon. They also offer beans to go.

The first time to walk around the Fleet Street, I was astonished since it looks like a street full of the stunning church constructions, the monuments and statues, which have a power left me in awe. Cannot believe this street was existed since the Middle Ages and it is also proved the history of printing and publishing of Britain. Just imagine numbers of journalists and typewriters frequently appeared around at that time. This time I checked The Fleet Street Press, a cute coffee shop along the Fleet street with a name really makes sense….haha… London Coffee Shop for Digital Nomads-9 The Fleet Street Press Category: Artisanal Independent WIFI: Reliable, free to use (need to ask for the code) Seating: Actually at the beginning, I felt a little disappointed since it looks so cram….and dim inside, though you will feel surprised when you walk in. It still can accommodate 15 seats on the ground floor, then I think the main reason is that the layout is long and thin shape. However, downstairs there are a wonderful basement, with plenty of tables and outlets for you to work the day away. Almost you could have a power point near your seat. Cool stuff… Toilet: One for Unisex Ambience: Not so many people occupy the seats here, so you could always find a seat, especially downstairs, good news for remote workers. Cost: Coffee £2.2-£3.4, Tea £2.2-£2.4, Hot Chocolate £2.8-£3.4 Need to pay extra for milk. Something Special about the cafe: (1) They display London Press Photograhers’ works and sell them; (2) The coffee shop has a basement downstairs, which is full of sofas, armchairs and round tables, with a nostalgic style. Cramped but cosy. Problems: The narrow layout and limited space

Great little place for high quality coffee in an area with not too many options. The interior is welcoming and well presented given that it is fairly compact. I tried the iced americano which had lovely lingering sweetness. Recommended and I will be back again to sample more
